Chris Childress

Date of Birth: December 13, 1987
Position: Bass
Bio: Chris is Amalgam Effect’s theoretical wizard and bass-playing virtuoso. Composing new songs piece-by-piece from the foundation of his intricate and adventurous basslines every week, he is a driving force behind Amalgam Effect’s rapidly growing catalogue of material. As one of the band’s two founding members, Chris brings a unique perspective by filtering his bandmates influence-driven musical personas through a more chaotic and impulsive compositional style. Both inside and outside the band, Chris is a slave to his curiosity, always looking to learn something new and add to a foundation of education which includes degrees in History and International Affairs.
