History
Before the Beginning (Pre 2011)
Before the formation of Amalgam Effect, the strings that would be tied together were already weaving. Matt Spivack and Calvin Merseal were friends before either played a note of music. Matt was always a singer, but it was throughout high school and middle school that he picked up flute and guitar – among other instruments.
